Job summary

Progressive Directions, Inc. is seeking a dependable Maintenance & Fleet Technician to keep our vehicles safe and ready for use while supporting warehouse and facilities operations. The role involves inspecting vehicles, coordinating repairs, and maintaining records.

You will work Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM, at our Clarksville facility. Valid driver's license required; prior fleet maintenance or warehouse experience preferred; opportunities to contribute to daily operations and team goals.

Qualifications

Basic knowledge and experience with routine vehicle maintenance and inspection procedures.
Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot basic mechanical issues.
Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
Valid, unrestricted driver's license.

Responsibilities

Conduct scheduled inspections of company vehicles and document the results.
Inspect vehicles for mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and safety concerns.
Troubleshoot basic vehicle issues and determine when outside repair services are needed.
Monitor preventative maintenance schedules and help ensure vehicles are serviced on time.
Maintain accurate records of vehicle inspections, maintenance, repairs, and service schedules.
Identify potential problems early to reduce downtime and costs.
Coordinate repairs and service with the Maintenance Supervisor and outside vendors.
Follow up on completed repairs and ensure vehicles are ready to return to service.
