Job summary

Cardinal Health in Kentucky is seeking a Warehouse Operations associate to perform housekeeping and support general warehouse tasks in the evening shift. You will learn multiple areas, count inventory, and ensure a clean, safe work environment.

The role requires ability to lift 30+ pounds, follow directions, and adapt to changing priorities. Training for floor scrubber operation may be provided.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Be willing to train and certifiy to drive floor scrubber.

• Adhere to quality guidelines.
• Work under supervision and review outputs by lead.

Job description

What Warehouse Operations contributes to Cardinal Health Warehouse Warehouse Operations is responsible for performing of housekeeping duties. Duties include sweeping, emptying cardboard recycling containers, transporting and replacing of plastic recycling containers, general housekeeping duties of keeping the workplace tidy.

Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 4:00pm to 8:00pm

Responsibilities

• Cross-training in multiple areas of the warehouse and participating in projects as needed.
• Perform inventory cycle counts.
• Flexible with day-to-day tasks.
• Perform housekeeping and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Basic maintenance duties.
• Willingness to train and be certified to drive floor scrubber to clean the facility.
• Applies acquired knowledge and skills to complete standard tasks.
• Readily learns and applies new information and methods to work in assigned area.
• Maintains appropriate licenses, training, and certifications.
• Works on routine assignments that require some problem resolution.
• Works within clearly defined standard operating procedures and/or scientific methods.
• Adheres to all quality guidelines.
• Works under moderate degree of supervision.
• Work typically involves regular review of output by work lead or supervisor.
• Refers complex unusual problems to supervisor.

Qualifications

• Ability to bend, reach, stoop lift and stand for entire shift.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience working with technologies, like computers or point of sale systems, a plus.
• High School diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience, preferred.

Anticipated hourly range: $19.00 per hour - $19.60 per hour based on experience (includes shift differential)
