Job summary

Cardinal Health is hiring for a warehouse operations role in Roanoke, Texas. You will fulfill orders, perform quality checks, and prepare shipments. The job offers a flexible schedule, with Sunday night shifts and options to work 8–29 hours weekly, based on available shifts.

No prior warehouse experience is required as training is provided on day one. You will learn to operate equipment such as forklifts and cherry pickers, while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Comfort working with heights 20-30 ft regularly.
• Ability to bend, reach, stoop, lift and stand for entire shift.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience working with technologies, like computers or POS systems, a plus.
• High School Diploma/GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow established process to fulfill orders, including picking products, quality checks, packing, and preparing orders for shipment.
• Cross-train in multiple areas of the warehouse and participate in projects as needed.
• Perform housekeeping and inventory control tasks and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Willingness to train and be certified to drive material handling equipment as required (e.g., cherry picker, forklift, reach truck, turret truck, pallet jack, walkie rider).

What Warehouse Operations contributes to Cardinal Health Operations is responsible for materials handling and product distribution in a distribution or manufacturing environment. Includes warehousing and fulfillment of materials and products, transportation, inventory management as well as demand, supply and manufacturing planning.

Responsibilities Follow established process to fulfill orders. This includes accurately picking products, performing quality control checks, packing products, and preparing orders for shipment. Cross-training in multiple areas of the warehouse and participating in projects as needed. Perform housekeeping and inventory control tasks and maintain a clean and safe work environment. Willingness to train and be certified to drive material handling equipment as required by job duty. Example equipment in the facility includes order picker (cherry picker), forklift, reach truck, turret truck, pallet jack, and walkie rider.
