Job summary

ALDI in Kansas is hiring for a Part-Time 3rd Shift Inbound (Receiving) role at $27.25 per hour, with fewer than 30 hours per week. The position is based in a warehouse serving stores and requires dedication to safety and accuracy.

You will receive thorough training, work in ambient and temperature-controlled areas, and perform inbound/outbound stock, inventory counts, and loading tasks while following company policies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be able to lift and move up to 45 pounds.
• Ability to operate powered industrial equipment safely.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Receive(Inbound) or select(Outbound) stock to fulfill orders for stores.
• Relocate merchandise in the warehouse per handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise for shipment and unload incoming orders.
• Conduct regular inventory counts and assist with safety and cleanliness.
• Communicate with peers and supervisors to improve processes.
• Follow ergonomic and safety procedures while operating equipment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Receives(Inbound)or selects(Outbound)stock efficiently to effectively fulfill orders received from stores.
• Relocates merchandise throughout the warehouse according to product handling guidelines.
• Sorts, organizes, and loads merchandise strategically in preparation for shipment and unloads incoming shipment from trucks/back-hauls.
• Performs general cleaning duties to achieve warehouse appearance standards and safety requirements.
• Participates in taking warehouse inventory counts according to guidelines.
• Cooperates and interacts effectively with peers,suppliersand warehouse leadership through ongoing communication and exchange of information.
• Provides input to the warehouse managementregardingchanges to improve processes.
• Inspects product, consults with the warehouse managementregardingproduct quality, safetyconcernsand sanitation issues.
• Assistswarehouse management in achieving budgeted goals.
• Performs all assigned tasks, accurately, efficiently, and within company policy and procedures.
• Follows the ergonomic program according to established procedures.
• Operates equipment according to safety guidelines in performance of essential job functions.
• Notifies managementregardingproduct quality, safety concerns, and sanitation issues.
• Other duties as assigned

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Frequently (Outbound) or occasionally (Inbound)requiredto lift and place product weighing up to 45 pounds on pallets at various heights.
• Frequentlymovesmerchandise from warehouse stock andprepareproduct for store deliveries.
• Frequently required to sit, stand, bend, reach, grip, push, pull, lift, carry and walk throughout the warehouse.
• Continuously works in varying temperatures, hot and cold including outdoor temperatures and refrigerator/freezer environments.
• Ability tosafely and properly operate powered industrial equipment.
