Job summary

Qualifications

• Registered or Licensed Vocational Nurse with California license.
• Teaching experience preferred but not required.
• Excellent written and oral communication and analytical skills.
• Competence with word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and e-mail.

Responsibilities

• Accept complete responsibility for students in the clinical facility.
• Teach a course load as assigned, including preparation for and instruction of clinical laboratory.
• Plan and organize instruction to maximize student learning.
• Coordinate daily plans with the clinical site to observe, instruct, and evaluate students.
• Direct post-conference to apply theoretical content to clinical experiences and discuss learning.
• Evaluate student progress and provide feedback weekly with clear objectives for improvement.
