Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Visitor Screening in North Billerica, MA. This role offers fixed anchor shifts with a six‑month commitment and the option to pick up extra shifts via our scheduling platform, to increase earnings.

Pay rate is $18.69 per hour. You will provide customer service to drivers, visitors, and staff, perform site‑specific screening, monitor access points, and respond to incidents in a calm, professional manner.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to drivers, visitors, and personnel by carrying out site‑specific screening procedures, policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Screen individuals, credentials, and authorized property entering or leaving the location in accordance with established procedures.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious activity, policy violations, and irregular conditions to site leadership and/or appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
