Job summary

The National Audubon Society is seeking a part-time Visitor Center Assistant for the Blair Visitor Center at Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary in Naples, FL. You will assist visitors, manage admissions and sales at the Nature Store and Cypress Cafe, and support member renewals from December 2026 through April 2027.

• GED or high school diploma required or equivalent.
• Experience in customer service, retail, or administrative support preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to multi-task in a busy environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent customer service and create a welcoming environment for guests, members, and volunteers.
• Support admissions, Nature Store sales, and Cypress Cafe operations.
• Promote, sell, and renew memberships; assist with end-of-day center closure.
• Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and maintain POS/ticketing systems.
