Job summary

Audubon is seeking a Café Cook and Attendant at the Blair Visitor Center in Naples, Florida. This full-time, seasonal position runs December 2026 through April 2027 and includes on-site work at Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience working with food in a commercial kitchen.
• Efficient at maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Friendly demeanor.
• Attentive to detail and product quality.
• Able to follow directions and work autonomously.
• Able to multi-task.
• Able to lift up to 25 lbs. with or without accommodations.
• Must wear health and safety equipment.
• Commitment to Audubon’s values and mission.
• Moderate understanding of MS Office and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist with orders.
• Process orders and note special requests, ensuring accuracy.
• Explain menu items with enthusiasm and knowledge of offerings.
• Prepare and serve food to customers promptly.
• Direct customers to utensils, condiments, and restrooms.
• Maintain sanitary workspaces and comply with health regulations.
• Clean and clear tables; manage café and kitchen area daily.
• Check deliveries and restock appropriate areas.
• Communicate health and safety concerns to supervisor.
• Assist with special events.
• Maintain a culture of safety.
