Job summary

Visionworks is seeking a Sr. Optical Specialist - Lead/Sales Lead to be the face of our store and deliver an exceptional patient and customer journey. You’ll possess optical knowledge, guide eyewear selections, and ensure a human and bold shopping experience while achieving sales goals.

The role emphasizes hands-on supervision, product training, and maintaining high standards of service in a fast-paced retail optical environment.

Qualifications

• 12 months optical experience or ABO Certification in lieu of experience.
• Customer or patient service experience is preferred.
• HS diploma, GED or equivalent related job experience.

Responsibilities

• Delivers daily sales goals by ensuring best execution of the Customer/Patient Experience journey.
• Engages with patients/customers and recommends products and services meeting eye care needs.
• Measures patients for eyewear and maintains product/optical knowledge through ongoing training.
• Performs daily operational activities including restocking inventory, merchandising, and order fulfillment.
