Job summary

Visionworks is seeking a Sr. Optical Specialist-Lead to be the face of our store, guiding patients through the Visionworks experience with optical knowledge and a customer-first approach.

The role requires about 12 months of optical experience (or ABO Certification) and a high school diploma. This part-time position offers typical benefits and opportunities for professional growth within a patient-focused retail setting.

Qualifications

• 12 months optical experience required; ABO Certification acceptable in lieu of experience.
• HS diploma, GED or equivalent related job experience.
• Maintain Optician License requirements per state guidelines as needed.

Responsibilities

• Deliver daily sales goals by ensuring the best execution of the Customer/Patient Experience journey.
• Engage with patients/customers and recommend products and services that meet their eye care needs.
• Measure patients/customers for eyewear and maintain product/optical knowledge through continued training and development.
• Execute day-to-day store operations to support the store's financial and customer experience goals, including opening/closing in LEAD roles.
