Job summary

Visionworks is seeking a Sr. Optical Specialist-Lead to be the face of our store, guiding customers through the eyewear journey and ensuring a human, bold experience. The role requires optical knowledge, strong customer service, and familiarity with our products and managed vision care.

Prior optical experience of 12 months is preferred, with ABO Certification as an acceptable substitute. License requirements per state guidelines may apply, with duties including meeting sales goals and providing

Qualifications

HS diploma, GED or equivalent related job experience.
ABO Certification in lieu of experience may substitute for 12 months optical experience.
Maintains Optician License requirements per state guidelines, as needed (Licensed)

Responsibilities

Delivers daily sales goals by ensuring the best execution of the Customer/Patient Experience journey.
Engages with patients/customers and recommends products and services that meet their eye care needs.
Measures patients/customers for their eyewear and maintains product/optical knowledge through training to ensure eyewear is Right the First Time.
Executes day-to-day operational activities to support the store's financial and customer experience goals including opening and closing the store in LEAD positions only.
