Job summary

Visionworks is seeking a Senior Optical Specialist-Lead/Sales Lead to be the face of our store. You will guide customers through the Visionworks journey, applying optical knowledge to meet eyewear needs with a simple, human, and bold approach.

Qualified candidates have 12 months of optical experience or ABO Certification, with HS diploma or GED, and must maintain state license requirements where applicable. This role supports daily sales and store operations in a dynamic retail environment.

Qualifications

• 12 months optical experience or ABO Certification in lieu of experience.
• HS diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Maintain Optician License requirements per state guidelines, as needed (Licensed)

Responsibilities

• Delivers daily sales goals by ensuring the best execution of the Customer/Patient Experience journey.
• Engage with patients/customers and recommend products and services that meet their eye care needs.
• Measure patients/customers for their eyewear and maintain product/optical knowledge through cont. training and development to ensure eyewear is Right the First Time.
• Execute day-to-day operational activities to support the store's financial and customer experience goals including opening and closing the store as needed in LEAD positions only
