Northwest Tri-county Intermediate Unit 5 is seeking a Virtual Teacher's Aide to support virtual learning for preschool and school-age students. The role works from the Edinboro office, servicing students virtually, not a work-from-home position.

Hours are Monday through Friday, with part-time range 10–29.5 hours weekly. The position offers hourly pay: Aide I ~$21.50 and Aide II ~$21.66. Knowledge of Teams/Zoom/Google Classroom and strong computer skills are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Proficiency with computer devices and software (Teams, Zoom, Google Classroom) is required.
• Live assessment will verify proficiency for the role.

Responsibilities

• Supervise children virtually and ensure safety per guidelines.
• Assist teacher and include students in all school day activities.
• Implement programs and modifications per IEP decisions.
• Troubleshoot hardware/connectivity issues for students.
• Collaborate with parents and remote teachers to understand needs.
• Perform administrative and instructional support duties as needed.
