Job summary

Northwest Tri-County IU5 seeks an Early Intervention Teacher's Aide (Part-Time) to support a Greene Township IU Preschool classroom. The role assists teachers with instruction, supervision, and student care in a flexible 10–29.5 hour/week schedule.

Start date for 2026-2027; current hours Tue–Fri 8:45am–3:15pm. Wage: Aide I $21.50/hr, Aide II $21.66/hr. This is an itinerant, school-based position with rewarding opportunities to impact young learners.

Qualifications

• Read and understand simple instructions, memos, and notes.
• Perform basic arithmetic operations accurately.
• Apply common sense to follow written or spoken instructions.
• Maintain confidentiality of student information.
• Complete required background checks and trainings as appropriate.

Responsibilities

• Assist professional staff with instruction, supervision, and care of students.
• Perform clerical, recordkeeping, and instructional support duties as needed.
• Carry out prescribed instructional, behavioral, or therapeutic activities.
• Fulfill additional duties as assigned by the teacher and supervisor.
