Job summary

PCC Portland Community College is accepting applications for part-time faculty in the Veterinary Technology Department. This is a part-time interest pool where applicants may be selected based on teaching needs throughout the academic year.

Qualifications include an A.A.S. in Veterinary Technology and five years of relevant experience. Oregon residency is required for employment. Newly hired faculty may also be eligible for certain benefits through PCC.

Qualifications

• Five years of experience in a veterinary hospital, clinic, or research facility.
• State certification as a licensed Veterinary Technician or license-eligible.
• Ability to list current PCC courses you could teach.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the part-time faculty interest pool for Veterinary Technology.
• Teach assigned courses based on department needs.
• Complete a criminal background check.
