Job summary

Collin College is seeking an adjunct professor to teach Veterinary Technology courses at the Wylie campus, pursuant to the schedule of classes and syllabi established by the Division faculty. In-person instruction only, with potential evening or weekend sessions and off-site locations as needed.

The candidate will prepare engaging coursework, reflect core values, and uphold college policies. Prior teaching experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree from an AVMA-accredited program in Veterinary Technology or related field.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) or Veterinary Medicine in Texas.
• Teaching experience is desired.

Responsibilities

• Teach courses in accordance with the schedule of classes and approved syllabi.
• Teaching assignments may be on one or more campus locations or off-site; not online.
• May include Dual Credit courses and evening/weekend programs.
• Perform other duties as assigned in accordance with college policies.

Education
