Job summary

Collin College seeks part-time adjunct faculty to deliver coursework in alignment with college policies and campus standards. Instructors may teach on one or more campuses or off-site locations, including evening and weekend programs, and may include Dual Credit courses.

Teaching experience is desired; candidates must hold an associate degree or higher or a doctoral credential in medicine-related fields. This is a security-sensitive role requiring a background check.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or higher in any discipline and hold a current healthcare certification/licensure (e.g. as a Paramedic, Licensed Vocational Nurse, Registered Nurse, etc.)
• Doctoral degree in Medicine, Osteopathic Medicine or Chiropractic
• Teaching experience is desired.

Responsibilities

• Teach courses in accordance with the schedule of classes and follow approved course descriptions and syllabi.
• Duties may be on campus or off-site locations; some courses may be evening or weekend.
• May include Dual Credit courses and additional duties as assigned.
