As a Surgery Technician, you will provide nursing care, place IV catheters, monitor vital signs, assist with anesthesia and fluid therapy, and communicate with clients post-operatively. Rotating on-call schedule after training.

Qualifications

• Two+ years of experience in a veterinary hospital.
• Part-time role in a surgical setting.
• Ability to work as part of a team and independently.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to stable patients according to hospital standards.
• Place peripheral intravenous catheters.
• Perform physical exams and monitor vitals.
• Set up intravenous fluids and administer subcutaneous fluids.
• Monitor patient response to therapy and alert the doctor as needed.
