Job summary

Mixlab, the first modern pet pharmacy, seeks a Compounding Pharmacist in New York. This part-time role offers 16 hours weekly with an evening shift, focusing on non-sterile veterinary compounding and ensuring accuracy, quality, and regulatory compliance.

You will counsel clients, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and support veterinary partners and the Care team in a fast-paced startup environment. NY pharmacist license and compounding experience required.

Qualifications

• Licensed NY pharmacist in good standing.
• Formal training in non-sterile compounding or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of non-sterile compounding experience; veterinary compounding preferred.
• Impeccable attention to detail and high quality standards.
• Collaborative team player in a fast-paced startup.

Responsibilities

• Compound non-sterile preparations (capsules, tablets, liquids, topicals).
• Fill, label, and package prescriptions for full-service compounding.
• Counsel clients on medications, usage, and instructions.
• Maintain records and monitor inventory per USP 795 and regulations.
• Collaborate with development team on product features and veterinary outreach.
• Perform Care Pharmacist duties as needed.
