Job summary

Carroll County Government is seeking a Program Coordinator, Veterans Services, to assist Veterans and families with compensation/pension claims and links to VA healthcare.

The role requires communication with clients, partner agencies, and staff, with emphasis on organization, attention to detail, and problem-solving; training to become an accredited Veterans Services Officer is provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in social work or related field.
• Three or more years of related experience.
• Comparable education/experience may be substituted for the minimum requirement.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the Veterans Services program and ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
• Conduct client appointments, including field visits as required.
• Develop and maintain relationships with community agencies and provide training to partners.
• Coordinate data collection, reporting, and client files with accurate records.
