Mixlab, a fast-growing veterinary compounding pharmacy, is hiring a licensed pharmacist for our Wisconsin location. This part-time role offers 28 hours weekly, closed Sundays and major holidays, and includes a sign-on bonus.

The role emphasizes accuracy, compliance, and client counseling for pets and their caregivers. You will oversee technicians, ensure timely orders, and maintain records while upholding Wisconsin pharmacy regulations and USP standards.

Qualifications

• Licensed pharmacist in Wisconsin in good standing.
• 2+ years of experience in a high-volume setting.
• Collaborative and team-oriented in a fast-paced startup environment.

Responsibilities

• Compound, fill and label prescriptions, and package medications.
• Oversee activities of pharmacy technicians per Wisconsin rules.
• Ensure orders are shipped from entry to final verification.
• Oversee flow from compounding to release.
• Maintain records and monitor inventory per regulations.
• Ensure compliance with USP <795>, <797>, and <800>.
• Verify prescriptions are accurately dispensed.
• Counsel clients on medications and usage with Care pharmacists.
