Qualifications

• NAVTA-approved Veterinary Assistant program preferred.
• One year of experience in a pet care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients and assist with check-in/check-out and scheduling.
• Prepare and disinfect exam rooms and equipment between appointments.
• Obtain patient information, medical history, vaccination records, and reason for visit.
• Calmly handle and restrain pets during examinations and procedures.
• Provide owner education and post-visit care instructions under supervision.
• Assist with basic health checks, medications, and routine lab tasks.
