Job summary

ASM Global is seeking a part-time Vault Clerk for the Shreveport Convention Center/Municipal Auditorium in Shreveport, Louisiana. The role reports to the Director of Finance and involves managing POS cash banks, reconciling cash and card transactions, and ensuring secure cash handling during events.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED, at least 1 year of cash handling experience, and basic computer knowledge.

Qualifications

• Fluent English and clear communication with staff.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Work independently with good judgment and initiative.
• Basic math and cash handling proficiency required.
• 1 year cash handling experience preferred.
• Pass criminal and background checks.

Responsibilities

• Create POS cash banks and secure in Security Vault.
• Hand cash banks to cashiers and record transactions.
• Collect excess cash during events and verify/seal cash.
• Count currency/coins and reconcile with ASM forms.
• Analyze stand sheets and cash slips for variances.
• Reconcile credit card batches after events.
• Maintain safe cash handling procedures with security team.
• Assist with vault reconciliations and balances.
• Meet physical demands including lifting up to 25 lbs.
