Job summary

ASM Global is seeking a Staff Accountant for the Shreveport Convention Center. Under the Finance leadership, you will support budgeting, accounts payable, ledgers, and external reporting for a major municipal venue.

The role requires a BS in Accounting/Finance and 3–5 years of relevant experience, with strong customer service and communication skills. On-site work is expected with occasional events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required; 3–5 years' experience in public accounting or financial management.
• Ability to work with auditors and prepare external financial reporting.
• Proficiency with basic accounting software and ledgers.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development and implementation of financial goals and budgets.
• Manage accounts payable and related accounting functions.
• Maintain general and subsidiary ledgers and prepare financial statements.
• Enter approved payables into Peachtree and print checks.
