Job summary

UChicago Medicine is seeking a Vascular Technologist II for a part‑time, 0.6 FTE position at the Crown Point campus in Indiana. You will perform comprehensive noninvasive vascular exams using Doppler ultrasound and duplex imaging to assess arterial and venous disease.

You will apply advanced technical knowledge to acquire high‑quality images, review patient history, and prepare preliminary reports while supporting interdisciplinary teams and patient safety initiatives.

Qualifications

• RVT certification or equivalent (ARDMS or CCI)
• Ability to perform comprehensive noninvasive vascular ultrasound examinations
• Strong knowledge of vascular anatomy, physiology, and pathology
• Excellent communication and teamwork in a clinical setting
• Experience with imaging and documentation systems such as Epic and PACS

Responsibilities

• Independently perform comprehensive noninvasive vascular examinations.
• Conduct venous and arterial duplex studies and arterial segmental pressures.
• Produce high-quality diagnostic images and preliminary reports.
• Communicate urgent findings to referring providers per protocol.
• Coordinate with physicians and nurses to support vascular diagnostics.
• Assist with QA, equipment maintenance, and patient safety measures.
