Job summary

Indiana University Health is seeking a diagnostic vascular ultrasound technologist to provide high-quality imaging of the vascular system. You will generate non-invasive ultrasound images and evaluate image quality, adjusting technique as needed to support accurate diagnoses.

You will collaborate with radiologists and other health professionals to ensure patient safety and comfort, explain procedures, position patients, and adhere to accreditation vascular imaging protocols.

Qualifications

• 0–3 years of relevant ultrasound experience.
• Current BLS certification from American Heart Association.
• ARDMS RVT VT or other recognized registry/certification (RVS/RT(VS)) as applicable.
• Ability to maneuver equipment and adjust positions for patient care.
• ISDH license if required.
• Experience in diagnostic ultrasound preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide diagnostic patient care using ultrasound to image the vascular system.
• Evaluate image quality and adjust technique to obtain optimal diagnostic images.
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate diagnostic information.
• Explain procedures, position patients, and ensure patient safety and comfort during ultrasound procedures.
• Comply with accreditation guidelines for vascular imaging protocols.
