Job summary

Elwyn seeks a Van Driver to provide safe and efficient transportation of clients to and from various locations to the Drop-In Center Day program.

This role will develop planned routes based on client needs in conjunction with their supervisor; ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the vehicle and completes necessary documentation; and develop and maintain therapeutically valid relationships with the clients, guardians, group managers, and other stakeholders in the community.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Valid driver's license in state of residence with 2+ years driving experience and clean record.
• CPR/CPI certification preferred or required.

Responsibilities

• Transport clients safely to/from Drop-In Center and program sites.
• Plan routes with supervisor to meet client needs.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report issues.
• Assist clients entering/exiting the vehicle.
• Communicate transportation needs with clients and guardians.
• Follow transportation laws and Elwyn policies.
• Maintain CPR and CPI certification current.
• Develop clinically-informed relationships with clients.
