Job summary

Growth Works Inc. is seeking a part-time Client Transporter to safely transport adjudicated youth to and from treatment programs. The role requires availability Monday through Friday from 2pm to 8pm and a commitment to professional conduct and safety.

You will drive agency-owned vans, maintain clean vehicles, log trips, and communicate with supervisors. The job emphasizes de-escalation skills, reliability, and teamwork in a community-based setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Michigan chauffeur’s license with good driving record.
• Ability to work non-traditional schedule including evenings and occasional weekends.
• Knowledge of local traffic laws and area.
• Successful completion of background checks.

Responsibilities

• Follow assigned route for client pickups and drop-offs.
• Ensure passenger safety by obeying traffic laws and weather guidelines.
• Maintain a clean, mechanically sound vehicle at all times.
• Report vehicle maintenance needs promptly.
• Maintain accurate driving records.
• Interact professionally with supervisor, coworkers, and clients.
• Use verbal de-escalation techniques when necessary.
• Ensure adherence to transport safety rules and guidelines.
• Complete required agency training and participate in program policies.
• Build positive working relationships with staff and clients.
• Complete other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
