Job summary

City of Coral Springs is seeking a Part-Time Assistant Swim Coach to support its competitive swim program under the Head Swim Coach. You will assist with coaching, instruction, supervision, and development of swimmers aged 6 to 19, following established training plans.

Must be a registered USA Swimming coach with current CPR, First Aid, Safety Training for Swim Coaches, and complete a Level 2 Background Screen. Schedule includes early mornings, afternoons, weekends, and summer hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be a registered USA Swimming Coach with current CPR, First Aid, and Safety Training for Swim Coaches.
• Level 2 Background Screening as per Florida requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning daily, monthly, and seasonal swim team schedules.
• Provide developmentally appropriate instruction on form, technique, and skill development.
• Assist with dry-land workouts and supervise swimmers during practices, meets, and travel.
• Help run swim camps, clinics, meets, and team events.
• Maintain participant records and meet entries using Hy-Tek/Team Manager/Meet Manager.
