Job summary

British Swim School in Sunrise/Coral Springs is seeking a part-time Swim Instructor to teach children in a fun, safe environment and promote water safety.

You will complete 40 hours of specialist training in our methodology, work a flexible schedule including evenings and at least one weekend day, and help children build confidence in the water.

Experience with children is a plus; CPR/First Aid training within 90 days is required, along with successful background clearance.

Qualifications

• Enthusiastic, student-focused mindset for children ages preschool to elementary.
• Ability to communicate clearly with parents and staff.
• Willingness to complete required British Swim School training and exams.
• CPR/AED and First Aid training within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Instruct swimming lessons following British Swim School standards.
• Conduct classes in a fun, safe environment and follow safety policies.
• Maintain a flexible schedule including early evenings and at least one weekend day.
• Work in water up to 4 hours at a time with moderate to high noise levels.
