Description

UrgentVet bridges the gap between daytime general practice and emergency/overnight care in the Virginia Beach, Virginia area. We offer after-hours care for canine and feline patients without the additional expense of emergency clinic fees. Our single-doctor shifts handle common urgent cases, including wound management, ear infections, vomiting/diarrhea, and euthanasia. Each clinic is paperless, equipped with cloud-based EMR, digital x-ray, and IDEXX in-house labs.

Responsibilities

• Serve patients and clients with a relationship-based approach
• Collaborate with clinical team and leadership
• Build relationships within the Virginia Beach community
• Support staff development through our LevelUp training program
• Manage a caseload including surgeries and appointments during open hours

Qualifications

• DVM/VMD from an AVMA-accredited college or successful completion of ECFVG/PAVE
• Active license in good standing in the state of employment or ability to obtain one
