Job summary

Boulder Medical Center (BMC) is seeking a compassionate Urgent Care Physician (MD/DO) to join our Urgent Care team in Boulder, Colorado. This part-time role offers at least four shifts per month with company-paid malpractice insurance, 401k, and healthcare benefits.

Ideal candidates provide high-quality patient care, diagnose and treat a broad range of conditions, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to achieve the best outcomes. Prior urgent care experience preferred.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Current medical licensure in Colorado.
• Board certification or eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive medical examinations and patient assessments.
• Diagnose acute illnesses, infections, minor injuries, and chronic condition exacerbations.
• Determine whether urgent care or referral to ED/specialist is needed.
• Prescribe medications and therapies as clinically appropriate.
• Collaborate with physicians, APPs, nurses, specialists and others to coordinate care.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant medical records.
• Stay current with medical advancements and regulatory requirements.
