Job summary

MUSC Health Elgin Urgent Care is seeking a part-time Advanced Practice Provider to join a busy urgent care team in Elgin, SC. The APP will provide compassionate patient care in a high-volume clinic alongside physicians and other APPs.

Ideal candidates hold PA or APRN licensure with BLS/ACLS and DEA, with at least 1 year of APP experience in urgent, primary, or emergency care. The role involves comprehensive exams, procedures, and documentation in Epic EHR.

Qualifications

• PA or APRN licensure required.
• Minimum 1 year APP experience in urgent, primary, or emergency care.
• BLS and ACLS required; DEA license.

Responsibilities

• Take comprehensive history and perform physical examinations.
• Evaluate and treat based on history, exam, and tests.
• Willingness to obtain DOT certification for DOT physicals.
• Perform procedures with physician privileges (I&D, suturing, basic splinting, wound care).
• EKG interpretation with physician over-read.
• Document and bill for care; participate in QA and compliance.
