Job summary

Citi in La Crescenta, CA is seeking an entry-level Universal Banker to assist in sales, services, and basic account openings. You will work with the customer service team to build loyalty and drive sales to individual clients.

You will support transactional banking, resolve issues, and participate in promotional campaigns while ensuring compliance with bank policies and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of relevant experience.
• Previous Retail Banking or similar experience required.
• Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in basic account opening for existing customer.
• Provide service delivery to resolve account service issues.
• Execute financial transactions in line with bank policies.
• Refer opportunities to segment partners where appropriate.
• Create sales opportunities from service transactions and resolve issues promptly.
• Support branch sales/service activities through seminars and campaigns.
• Adhere to controls and regulatory procedures to safeguard assets and maintain compliance.
• Assess risk in decisions, uphold Citi's reputation, and escalate control issues as needed.
