Job summary

Citi in Aliso Viejo, CA is seeking a Universal Banker (entry level) to assist in sales and service activities, supporting the customer service team and building loyalty among individual clients.

You will handle basic account openings, perform transactions, and resolve service issues while supporting branch sales events and referring opportunities to partners, all within bank policies and risk controls.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of relevant experience.
• Previous Retail Banking or similar experience required.
• Writes and speaks clearly and concisely.

Responsibilities

• Assist in basic account opening for existing customers.
• Provide service delivery to resolve account service issues.
• Execute financial transactions in accordance with bank policies.
• Refer opportunities to segment partners where appropriate.
• Create sales opportunities from service transactions and resolve customer issues promptly.
• Support sales/service activities within the branch during seminars and campaigns.
• Adhere to controls and regulatory procedures to safeguard assets.
• Escalate, manage, and report control issues with transparency.
