Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer Unarmed Vehicle Patrol Driver in Springfield, MO. You will patrol sites, deter security incidents, and deliver excellent customer service while upholding company policies.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to pass a background check and drug screen. Schedule includes daytime shifts and weekend hours.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required as per federal/state/local laws.
• Drug screening required where permitted by law.
• Licensing may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and utility customers while carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, service disruptions, and other critical situations in a calm, professional manner; document activities and notify designated personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, buildings, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials, and maintain visitor and contractor entry records as required.
• Complete detailed daily activity and incident reports, shift handoffs, and report hazards or suspicious activity.
