Allied Universal in Roanoke, VA is seeking a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Inspection to protect clients across diverse facilities. This part-time role focuses on visible security presence, incident reporting, and courteous service to employees and visitors.

You will conduct routine patrols at a utilities-related site, enforce site policies, and document activity. The schedule includes Tue/Wed/Thu evenings, providing flexibility and opportunities for growth with Allied Universal.

Qualifications

• Provide excellent customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and the public.
• Observe and report unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns during patrols.
• Record entries, exits, and incidents clearly for site leadership and management.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and the public at a utilities-related location by carrying out security procedures, site policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas; observe and report issues.
• Monitor access to restricted areas; verify visitor/contractor authorization and document movements as required.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, service calls, and emergencies; notify site contacts and responders as needed.
• Complete accurate daily activity and incident reports and share information with Allied Universal leadership.
