Qualifications

• Candidate must provide outstanding customer service and communicate clearly with site personnel and visitors.
• Role requires reliability and integrity in daily security operations.
• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, contractors, and visitors at a utilities location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility buildings, access points, equipment areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor authorization in accordance with site procedures, and maintain accurate activity records.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating observations to appropriate site contacts and emergency responders.
• Help to deter unauthorized access, trespassing, theft, and property damage through a visible patrol presence and timely reporting of observed concerns.
