Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer, Unarmed Roving Patrol in Sterlington, LA. You will provide customer service, monitor access, and patrol assigned areas at a chemical/petrochemical location, while maintaining a visible presence to deter incidents.

You will work Sat and Sun evenings, 4:00 PM–12:00 AM, with a pay rate of $14.25 per hour. Excellent team support, smart tools, and growth opportunities are highlighted features of the role.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check as required by law.
• Drug screen as required by law.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a chemical/petrochemical location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, hazardous material concerns, and critical situations calmly and following site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, processing areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter boundaries.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials and directing authorized visitors and contractors.
• Complete accurate reports, maintain patrol logs, and communicate incidents to appropriate personnel.
