Job summary

Allied Universal in Norwood, MA is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer (Unarmed Patrol) to protect clients across industries and ensure a safe environment.

You will conduct routine interior and exterior patrols, maintain a visible presence, monitor access points, and document incidents while communicating professionally with staff and visitors. Schedule is Fri–Sun 3:00 PM–11:00 PM with a pay rate of $22.05 per hour.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required by law.
• Criminal history considered with applicable laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required; driver’s license for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner following protocols.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of interior/exterior areas to deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor access points, verify authorization, and maintain logs and incident documentation.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership regarding security concerns.
