Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Security Guard Unarmed Patrol in Bridgeton, MO to protect clients across Retail/Malls and other industries. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence, and deliver exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.

This role requires a valid driver’s license and is designed for individuals 18+ for unarmed roles. A background check and drug screen will be conducted, and licensing may be required by state/local laws.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license according to Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation per federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories per applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws and regulations.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to shoppers, visitors, and store personnel while carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, policy violations, hazards, and other security-related concerns to appropriate store contacts and Allied Universal supervision.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Assist with access control, traffic and pedestrian flow, and incident documentation as directed by site procedures.
