Job summary

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen as permitted by law.
• License requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, resident, and vendor activity per site-specific procedures.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activity accurately and communicate information to site contacts and leadership.
