Qualifications

• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience using access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check and drug screen as a condition of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors and vendors by following security procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, grounds, parking areas and perimeter.
• Monitor access by verifying credentials, documenting entry and reporting concerns.
• Respond to incidents and alarms in a calm, problem-solving manner and contact responders as directed.
• Prepare accurate reports and logs for patrols, incidents and access activity.
