Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at a utility location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas, reporting unusual conditions and security-related concerns.
• Monitor access to restricted areas and verify authorized entry in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting activities as required.
• Complete daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol documentation while helping to deter unauthorized access and other security-related issues.

Pay Rate: $18.67 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Fri: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Sat: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Sun: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
