Job summary

Allied Universal in Shreveport, LA is seeking a Part Time Unarmed Security Officer for Property Awareness. You will provide customer service, conduct patrols, deter incidents, monitor access, and report security findings according to site procedures, while maintaining a visible presence.

The position offers weekend shifts, a pay rate of $16.38/hour, and opportunities for training, growth, and access to company tools that help you claim additional shifts.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by federal, state and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel at a technology-focused location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior spaces, exterior grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access activity and assist with visitor management, badge verification, and/or entry procedures in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following emergency response procedures and reporting observations to appropriate personnel.
• Document patrols, incidents, and security-related observations accurately and communicate relevant information during shift handoffs.
