Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Security Officer - Patrol Driver in Shreveport, LA to provide unarmed security and customer service at a utility site. You will perform vehicle and foot patrols, monitor access, and report security-related concerns.

The role offers a flexible schedule, weekly pay, and opportunities for career growth within a leading security services company. A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation will be conducted in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• A drug screen may be required where permitted by law.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at utility locations.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual conditions and/or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to assigned areas, verify credentials as directed, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and completing required reports.
• Observe and report facility conditions, including unsecured access points, damaged fencing, lighting concerns, and/or other hazards, to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
