Job summary

Allied Universal in Whitsett, NC is hiring a Part-Time Security Guard (Unarmed) to protect client facilities across technology and corporate locations. You will patrol, monitor access points, and provide courteous service to employees and visitors.

This role offers flexible day shifts and the chance to join a large national security company that emphasizes teamwork, safety, and professional conduct. A high school diploma and basic computer skills are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a technology-focused business location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of offices, common areas, parking areas, entry points, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity and help deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, maintaining accurate logs and reporting access-related concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures and notifying appropriate contacts.
• Prepare clear, timely activity and incident reports and communicate observations, policy concerns, and security-related issues to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.
