Allied Universal in Smithton, PA seeks a Part-Time Security Officer (Unarmed Patrol Presence) to safeguard clients across Retail/Malls and other sites. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence, deter incidents, and provide excellent customer service.

The role offers flexible scheduling via Claim a Shift, a pay rate of $18.00 per hour, and opportunities to grow within a leading security services company.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants may be subject to a background investigation in accordance with laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories per applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state/local laws and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and store personnel by carrying out security-related procedures and policies.
• Respond to incidents, concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location.
• Monitor access points and deter unauthorized entry and theft-related activity.
• Document observations and communicate information to site management and leadership.
