Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a part-time Security Officer for unarmed patrol surveillance in Winchester, VA. You will perform routine patrols, maintain a visible presence, monitor areas, and provide professional customer service.

Typical schedule: Wed 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM; Thur 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM. Pay rate: $18.63 per hour. This role requires a high school diploma, background check, and ability to work on a part-time basis.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Subject to background check in accordance with federal, state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• A drug screen will be conducted as a condition of employment, as permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state/local laws and regulations and may be required pre-employment.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, and facility perimeter.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorized entry, and report unauthorized access attempts.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and shift activities and communicate information to site contacts and leadership.
