Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer in Newport, KY. You will patrol and monitor a public-facing location, deter security incidents, assist with access control, and deliver excellent customer service.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements: 18+ for unarmed, 21+ for armed; high school diploma or equivalent.
Customer service experience preferred.
Access control and badge experience preferred.
Background check and drug screen as required by law.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and tenants by following security procedures and site policies.
Respond to incidents calmly and contact appropriate personnel or emergency services as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols of the property including common areas, entrances, and perimeter.
Monitor access points to deter unauthorized access, trespass, theft, and policy violations.
Prepare clear, accurate incident and activity reports per site procedures.
